My first week

Hi I am a forty something mum of four and I was introduced to this site by my 24 year old daughter who has lost 2 stone since April. I'm not setting myself a massive weight loss target am happy to go for a few pounds at a time and have managed 12 so far, 2 since I joined this site. Am currently motivated not only by my daughter's success but also by how much better my clothes are looking on me already. I lead an active lifestyle, working in a primary school and volunteering for 2 charities and am struggling to set my activity level correctly so as to allow enough calories but not too many. Am experimenting with my daughter's help and hope to get it right soon.

I understand what you mean by experimenting. Even now of I go below 1350 my hair gets dry and thin (my eyebrows too). So I am sticking to 1350 plus exercise calories (eating them back) while taking a multivitamin. My hair is thicker and no longer dry and I don't have to fill in my eyebrows every day anymore.0
