I'm thinking about buying the Insanity program. Has anyone tried this? If so, how'd you do? Pics would be cool to see progress.

I'm curious to see some pictures, too! I have some friends (a set of identical twin sisters) from my home town who started the Insanity program after Jillian Michaels got too easy for them. They've posted on facebook a few times that they love the program and how difficult it is, and that the food suggestions are great... But they don't ever post progress pictures. All I know is that they've lost a lot of weight since we were in high school, and they're teeny tiny now, but they still think they're flabby... but that could be more of a mental thing since they spend so many hours watching fitness models doing the workouts.0

There's a thread somewhere with a TON of before/after pics of insanity. Also some of 30 Day Shred. I'm still too fat and out of shape for insanity.. I would kill myself trying that now. I do plan to do it after losing maybe 50 more lbs.0

If you send me a friend request, you can see my pics. I just finished Insanity two and a half weeks ago and I have a blog post showing my stats, as well. Insanity is a great program and is definitely not for beginners or babies. It's a lot of hard work, effort, and dedication. :-) I also followed the nutrition plan to a T. I did suffer knee injuries during the process but injuries are to be expected when you're working out at that level.
To me, it's well-worth every minute and penny!

I'm on week 4 of Insanity - haven't taken any progress pics yet, though. I LOVE it - it's a killer cardio workout, but it's effective and works great! I completed JM 30DS and then RI30 before starting Insanity, don't think I could have gotten through without it!0

I am just finishing month one of Insanity and gearing up for month two. It is the BEST workout that I have ever had. The results are amaaaazing. It is worth it if you stick with it!0

I don't know where you are weight wise, but I'm a little over 200 lbs and I'm 5'2". I started Insanity last week as I've hit a plateau. I've lost 56 lbs already, 36 of them with myfitnesspal and the gym (primarily spinning and weight training classes). I'm on day 5 and it's definitely INSANE! I have a friend who was also around my size that did it about 4 months after having her last child and she looks amazing.
I bring this up as some may say that you shouldn't start it based on ones weight, but it's really about their level of fitness. Without spinning, I would not have been able to even try this.0 -
I have done it a few times - it will kick you butt into shape!!
I can't seem to add my pictures??0
