Does being on "the pill" make it harder to lose weight?

Yeah I've been on the pill for 2 years and on MFP since January... The pill hasn't hurt my success at all.0

I was on Yasmin while I was in college, and gained MOST of my weight while I was on that pill (although I was gaining weight before and after I started).
Right now, I'm in the last week of the first round of Seasonique (3-months of pills). I started to really get serious about changing my eating and exercise habits in month 2, but as soon as I changed them I started spotting like crazy, and then it turned into a regular flow (no other pms symptoms, though). The bleeding stopped after about 2 weeks, and I've been pretty successful with my weight loss.0
