Ulnar nerve surgery
Hi, I've been having pins and needles in my right hand for a few months and saw the doctor today who told me I have an ulnar nerve entrapment and the only treatment other than pain relief is an operation to cut the tendon. I'm going to give it a few weeks and get a referral if there is no improvement (I'm in the UK and have private insurance so don't have to wait on the NHS) but I'd rather not have surgery unless I have to.
Has anyone had this procedure? I've googled it and read bits and bibs but would like to hear other people's experiences. In the meantime I'm going to try some nerve gliding exercises.

I had ulnar nerve surgery. Ulnar nerve transposition. The surgery itself wasn't bad. The recovery was long. Mine was due to trauma from a car accident.0
