New Month, New Goals!

What are your goals for September? How will you achieve your goals?

Replies

  • By motivating myself to stay on track. Telling myself that just because it's there does not mean that I need to eat it.

Also by reminding myself that I am worth it, even when I do not feel like I am.
  • Awesome Goals!

And you are worth it :)

Start on an exercise routine again and really make myself follow it. It's been a while!

I am determined to lose 10lbs for this month... I will be busy so I'm going to have to work around that, but I am determined to see how far I can push my body for an entire 30 days.

Keep sticking with Insanity, even though some days I want to curse Shaun T out.
Lose 2lbs, I know it's not a lot but I'm trying to preserve muscle.
    Continue with higher calorie Net

My goal is to not set myself up for failure by trying to change too many things at once in an attempt to be the "perfect" me that is in my head. Instead I will choose one goal and stick to it. I have pledged to walk/run 80+ miles in september. I've already done 11.5miles so well on my way.

Drink lots of water, continue with C25k and body weight training, complete the 60 minute plank challenge. Stay under calories!

I'm trying to walk a lot and lose at least 5 lbs in September. Actually, my birthday is in the beginning of October, so I'm hoping to lose 6 lbs this month so by my birthday I can hit an even 50 lbs lost. That will really be something to celebrate!

Basically if I can stay under my calorie goal for about 6 out of 7 days each week, I think I can do it. When I am disciplined, I don't seem to have too much of a problem losing (fingers crossed I am not now jinxing myself to plateau).

I want to continue improving in terms of nutrition: more fresh fruits and veggies, more fish, less alcohol and less flour based foods.
I want to start lifting in mid-September.
By the end of the month I'm hoping to have lost 10 Lbs.

    Good luck to everyone!
  • Love it! You all have GREAT goals and looking forward to seeing you reach them ;)
