hard to take

I am having a really hard time starting my weight loss journey. I started getting my butt in gear at the end of July. I have worked out 3-5x a week and watched my calories. i am still at 3-4 lbs lost now the beginning of Sept. My husband says he wants to lose weight, but then he eats just like he's been doing in the past and might get 1 workout done in a week. He got on the scale today and had lost 1 lb since he last weighed on Fri. While I am happy he sorta trying to get healthy again, it really depresses me that I do all of this stuff that is supposed to help me and get almost nowhere, while he gets to laze around and drops the weight like it's nothing.

Hey TabbyKat, I know how you feel, my partner is tall and lean and eats whatever he likes when I have to watch everything! Don't give up - how are your measurements looking? At my last weigh-in at the gym I had only lost 2 pounds since the time before but I had dropped almost 4 inches from my waist! That is the thing I am trying to focus on because as I'm losing fat (and inches) I am gaining muscle which weighs more.0
