When not feeling well

Here's a new one. I haven't been feeling great for a couple of days -- dr. put me on antibiotics for an infection -- and I have been unusually lax about logging what I eat and drink, and worse, just grazing all day without giving it any thought. My justification is that if I'm sick I can eat or drink anything I want.

It's not the end of the world I'm only about -175 or -240 (yesterday) calories and at least I'm logging it (rough rough estimates, not even trying...) and I'll go back to being diligent tomorrow.

But it does make me think about all the reasons I give myself to eat a lot, or eat carbs and sugar, or overeat mindlessly -- bad day, not feeling well, really good day, worried day, company over, going away party at work, etc.

Fortunately, I think those antibiotics kicked in.

One last thought - I lost nine pounds for the first time since my wedding 10 years ago. I'm sure as hell not putting them back on!
