Tummy flab! help :(

ok so i've read quite a few times about tummy fat and how it is always the last to go but seriously, it's becomming a bit of a joke now.

i've lost 17lbs so far with 10lbs to go (depending on my tummy!) my face looks thinner, my arms look more toned, as do my legs, but it's like my stomach hasn't changed at all.

i've always had a big flabby tummy and it gets me down alot.

i do 45mins of cardio & 15mins of weights 3/4 times a week, as well as planks and sit ups and stick to 1100 - 1400 cals per day.

is my flabby tummy ever going to go?

I've been having the same issue. ): I've lost 94 pounds and I'm now about 107lbs at 5'3 and I still have that pesky stomach flab. I work out 6 times a week for 45min with occasional weight training and I eat about 1000ish calories per day.

I just have to keep telling myself it will go away, cause it will.. its just so annoying.

I'm the same! I've lost 10kg and I'm getting pretty slim except for my tummy. My legs are getting thinner and thinner, yet my tummy is still over the 85cm that they say is safe for good health.
My worry is that my legs will be chicken thin and I'll look like an apple on a stick! Still, not much I can do about my natural body shape I suppose.
The only thing I've heard that can help is laying off the sugar and processed foods, which apparently cause your body to lay it's fat down in the midriff.

    Tell me about it!

I lost 50lbs about two years ago through hard work, eating right and working out. I've since gone through a battle with binge-eating and have come out the other end recovered but still at the same weight...130lbs, that evil number that always smirks up at me no matter what scale I stand on!

I'm working on the last 10lbs right now as my goal is 120lbs...only then, I can see my tummy flab being gone...but I really hope its not just my bodies natural shape :grumble:
