I tell most of my clients that in situations like this they can eat up to TDEE and not gain weight.
Yes I am on a 1200 diet, struggling to even reach that sometimes! I've looked at my TDEE before but I don't really understand it all to be honest.0 -
try to make the best decision and record it the best you can. worse comes to worse, you work out more and start again next week.0

You've gotten lots of great advice on here
If the restaurant has the NI online, make your meal choice in advance. Don't be shy about customizing your order! Remember that you're at the restaurant to visit not just to eat, so stand up for yourself if people are turned off by you not "eating" with them when you turn down the bread, etc.
