Morning,

I'm looking to change up my workouts and was wondering if there are any bikers on MFP? I need to burn calories and tone up. thoughts? thanks

    I just started biking again after a 20 year layoff! I ride a 16-20 mile loop with an average speed of 16-18MPH. My HRM says I'm burning 700 calories on these rides so it's defintiely a good workout. Plus, it's nice to get outside!

    Do you do interval biking or push yourself the whole ride? I've been running and that keeps my heart rate up, will biking do the same? Will I see fat loss in my butt and thighs? I will be biking on a bike path, so there will be less safety issues, I hope! Any other tips you have for getting started.
