Nervous about seeing a dietician

So, my office is bringing in a dietician in a couple of weeks, which is fantastic. She'll do a baseline body composition, and talk with us about goal setting and nutrition plans. This is great, and one of the reasons I love my office - they take good care of us.

But I don't know if I can make myself sign up.

I know that I'm "skinny fat." I don't look like I'm carrying a lot of extra weight, but my body fat % is too high, my lean muscle mass is too low, and I am in utterly awful shape. I don't want anyone to see me like this, especially someone who knows what in shape is supposed to look like. Also, I don't know exactly what my body fat percentage is, and I do NOT want to know that number! Even though I should...

She's a great tool, and could potentially help me out a lot. I'm just so nervous and self conscious. I could use some motivation to go up and make my appointment, and some advice as to how to not freak out when I'm in front of her.

Skinny fat isn't a bad place to be... Most of us would be ok with that. A toning program like p90x tapout etc etc would be great or taking up weight lifting and light cardio.
