DIY anniveversary gift?
Hey my six months is on the 18th...and I totally forgot about it until my bf brought it up. Turns out these little milestones are really important to him, so I want to get him something really good but DIY because he's probably going to make me something. I'm pretty crafty (knitting, crotchet, simple set construction and re-upolstering ect.) so I feel like I should aim a little higher than a scrapbook or another mixtape lol.
Any good ideas?

people still make mixtapes, thats cool lol...but umm i think i actually makes more sense to buy something than throw something together so quickly, something small or practical that you know he would probably buy himself eventually0

Maybe bake him something he enjoys (maybe not the best idea for weight loss lol) or make him dinner. I love baking and cooking so that's what I would suggest....
or...
maybe make a frame and put a pic of the two of you in there. Or make some sort of collage with a picture of the two of you in the center and things you have done together such as movie ticket stubs, song lyrics, etc. (also another picture frame type idea)
maybe if he doesn't know how to do something like cooking or whatever you could teach him personally. (as long as it is something he wants to learn!)
Hope that helps!0 -
Wrap yourself up with a bow... go from there0

I did one for valentines day for my (then boyfriend) now husband...
I bought a book (fun one that was pictures of different kinds of walls...but blank except pictures). We did long distance for a year so I had written lots of letters/cards...put those in there. I also had a running list of things I loved about him and favorite memories...pictures, things like that. Little keepsakes like flyers we got from bed and breakfasts we stayed at or menus from some of our favorite dates...
To this day he said it's the best gift I have ever given him. He could not believe I had so many nice things to say...I gave him the book and homemade chocolate covered oreos. He went bragging to his friends at work the next day...it was a huge hit.0
