Help me change my logic

Today is my first big baking day [I run a baking business on Etsy and my own website and at craft shows] since starting paleo 8 days ago.
I'm finding it EASY to NOT eat any samples of what's done or have a taste of leftover batter, BUT I hear myself saying I 'deserve' some kind of carb treat [like french fries - my secret downfall] if I finish the day well.
Ugh, how do I change THAT logic???

That mindset is exactly how I got fat and it has been really hard to change my thinking. The best way for me is to just agree that I can have it, but not right now. Maybe in a couple of days. Or I'll schedule it for myself - (Reese's Cup on Friday, woohoo!) Learning the trick of delayed gratification has worked for me so far and kept me from over-indulging on foods that really belong in the realm of occasional treat.0
