I started my diet on January 2nd this year and have lost 72 lbs., but I have been on a platau for a month now. I haven't been eating any more and increased my exercise. I do 45 minutes on a stationary bike every day along with walking 1.5 miles and jogging .5 mile. I also do light weight training to get rid of the excess belly and man boobs, EVERY DAY. I haven't lost a pound in a month.
What is going on here. I won't stop, but I need to know if there is anything else I can do.
Help if you can.

It's hard because it could be a few different things. Try changing up your work outs or maybe, with lifting, you aren't eating enough calories now that you're burning more, longer.
I've been floating around the same two lbs for almost five months! I've lost inches though, so I know it's muscle.
Good luck!0 -
I haven't hit a plateau yet. But others here usually recommend just changing things up. Change your ratios of fats/protein/carbs. Or maybe take a day or two a week off from heavy workouts. Our bodies and muscles do need rest. You've done great so far. Good luck on this little slog and hope you'll be back on the losing road soon.0

You might not be eatting enough... I was where you are and I increased my calories and changed up my workouts and it seemed to work for me. Just gotta shock the body...0

^^THIS! switch up your exercise routine by trying a new fitness class or youtube different weight training exercises. also, try increasing your intake by eating more lean proteins, raw fruits, and fresh veggies (remeber: quality over quantity)
you are doing such a great job - good luck!0 -
Thanks for your comments. I'm scared to death to eat more although everybody tells me I should. Maybe I'll give that a try and change my workout a little thanks all0
