On the road... AGAIN!

Hello everyone! I am 28 years old and I live in Ohio. I weigh roughly 225 pounds. I have been a serial dieter for most of my life. I recently decided that I was going to really work on getting healthy. I wasn't going to diet. I wasn't going to get to XXX pounds. I was just going to get healthier. I started a list of 30 things I want to do before I am 30, and that is on there! I am committed. I would love to meet people on here that I can share my journey with, and watch their journey as well. I think that a support system is huge if I want this to really work this time. I am married with a toddler in our home, and a teenager who spends every other weekend with us. I also work a full-time job as well as a part-time party plan business. I seem to find it extremely hard to exercise. What are your tips/tricks to finding the time and ENERGY?? Can't wait to meet everyone!

  • Woo, thanks for adding me! I know what you mean about wanting to get healthier before you're 30 - me too! I can't bear the thought of going through my 30s like I did my 20s... fat, unhealthy and unhappy. No thanks! So yeah, let's do this!

I completely agree! I've set number goals and focused so much on counting calories and obsessing over food but I'm tired of it. It has to be a lifestyle 360 and I'm looking for supportive friends too (new as of today)

It is tough fighting with weight all our adult lives. I can tell you post 50 how many times I have said this is the time. Just keep living each day and doing the best you can drive yourself to be. Be active and do activities you enjoy and that will go along way to instilling a life style change.
