Need low impact exercise

I am sure something similar has been posted before, but I get an error every time I search. In any case, I have a foot problem that precludes a lot of strenuous exercise. I can't even walk for a great distance. I have been doing water aerobics and swimming, which has been great, but with fall coming, I need to have a backup plan. Yoga is great for me too, but I think it is more centering than it is calorie burning. It would help if it is stuff I can do at home because I am a full time student with two kids and a bizarre schedule. Going to the gym is not impossible, just incredibly difficult. I welcome any suggestions!
