Should I Up My Activity Level?

I'm on sedentary because I really was--my hobby is reading and I didn't do much else. Now, however, I'm back in school, and I'd like to know your opinion on whether I should switch to the next activity level.

I'm in school 5 days a week, some days I'll walk to or from school, which is almost 2 miles to my room. A lot of walking during the day even when taking the bus if I'm in a hurry or lazy that day. 2 days a week I'm in a class with a lot of physical activity--I usually go straight home and shower because I get sweaty, so I know that's doing something.

Does that sound like enough to be "Lightly Active" though? It takes me from 1200 to 1310, which I think will be good for me, especially on days with that active class.

What if I walked back every day; I think it only burns like 80 calories for 2 (1.7 really) miles? Should I put that as exercise or include it in my assessment of activity?
