DAY 3

Yesterday I stayed within my calories, with the exception of the popcorn I ate at like 10:30 at night! I had a really crazy and hectic evening at home yesterday and couldn't resist the urge to scarf down on something - I'm glad it was only a few cups of popcorn opposed to half of a large pizza! I have recently realized that I eat when I need comforted. Since I love food so much it makes me feel good when I'm having a bad day.

I didn't exercise. I was planning on it being my day off, and after the evening I had dealing with my horrific kids I REALLY didn't want to exercise!

For today I KNOW I'm gonna have to exercise double time - meeting an old friend at Primanti's for lunch. Primanti's is a Pittsburgh staple that is known for its sandwiches (your choice of meat piled high with fries and coleslaw ON THE SANDWICH). Since I have been doing good and haven't treated myself lately I'm gonna get a sandwich but only eat HALF, and not get a side of fries - I'll go for the salad. I'm proud of myself for thinking about this PRIOR to going and not getting caught up in the moment and going hog wild!

I hope everyone is successful staying within their guidelines for today and exercising if its your exercise day!

    Good luck with the Primanti lunch!! I'm front Pittsburgh too!! I love to go to the Strip on Saturday.

    I would kill for a hot lobster roll from Roland's.....unless I didn't eat the rest of the day I couldn't possibly fit that into my calories :laugh:
