My Routine

My Routine so far is to have quit alcohol (apart from a mad weekend last), which should take at least 600cal out of my day as I was drinking at least 5 500ml cans of beer every day. I have added 30 min of walking twice a day so that should account for another 500cal so that leaves me 1100cal off per day. I have cut out more junk also like crisps and my meals are healthy and home cooked. Living in China It is hard to count the correct the amount of calories but considering all dishes are fresh, cooked with minimum oil and there is plenty of veg available, and as long as I am not eating rubbish I should be ok with dropping beer and increasing exercise right?

Certainly seems like it should work.
I know my cutting out cookies, crisps, and candy has really helped me shed the pounds.0 -
A can of beer ranges from about 180 - 240 cals, if you are cutting out 5 per day, that is an instant saving of about 1000 calories every day. Exercise is always good and I assume that if you are eating fresh food that is a step in the right direction, keep it up for a couple of weeks and weigh yourself.
I know personally cutting back on booze (can't and won't quit) and cutting out unhealthy snacks/junk has been the main contribution to my weight loss.0 -
Those sound like great choices - try that for a week or 2 and see how you go.0
