Looking to get a heart monitor but not sure where to start looking? What should I be looking for in terms of features? Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

If you have an iphone, seriously look into getting the Wahoo Fitness setup. Awesome stuff. I've got one and LOVE it.

I have the Polar FT4. There is a band for your rib area and a watch, which I wear when I work out. It tracks your heart rate and calories you burn. I didn't need any more features than that. You program it with your height, your weight, and your age. It syncs with all the machines at the gym too. So no holding on! (The calories on those can read up to 20% higher than what you really are burning ) It is $100 at most stores, but only $65 on Amazon. Many of my friends have one too. We love it.0
