I completed C25k a week ago. I didn't get to 5k, only to 3k, but that's still a huge achievement for me. I have never run in my life before (I remember being in grade 3 and trying to avoid the "run around the oval" warm-up.)
So last Thursday I had to have minor surgery - a laparoscopy. All went well. But I'm not allowed to run for another week. So that'll be two weeks without running.
Should I try to pick up where I left off? Or should I start C25K again, but go faster this time? What's the best way to get back into exercise after time off?
