Just booked my wedding - 5th June 2014.
I have a while to get to my goal weight, but with 94lb to lose, it still feels like no small feat.
Show me some before and after pictures of you for your wedding day, and how you did it!

this was me 2 weeks ago.....
i started insanity 16days ago so hoping to look more toned before the big day, i started losing weight in june 2011 after the birth of my daughter and have lost 63lbs so far gone from uk size 12-14 to uk size 6-80 -
Wow! You look amazing!
What is insanity like? I was thinking of starting 30 day shred, I've heard that's really good!0 -
amazing congratulations :bigsmile:0

Having a goal for your wedding day is great but more important its a lifestyle change to live a healthy life. Get your butt moving today and change your life.0

I didn't lose weight for my wedding that was way too long ago..lol.
But lost lots for my daughter's wedding late last year.0 -
June 14 is PLENTY of time, even 1lb a week will get you done by then!!! You have the right idea, just eating sensibly and working out rather than some stupid low cal diet, :-)
I booked mine in july 2007 for wedding august 2008. I went from UK size 22 / 256lbs to UK size 14 / 200lbs so 56lbs total loss by sticking to 1500 ish cals and exercise (mainly running and boxercise).
The 1500 way WAY too low for me, and I gained back up to 244 after the wedding. Ive now gone from 244 to 181, 63lbs total in less time (october 2011 to August 2012) by eating around 2000 (based on TDEE of 2700 from fat2fit) and doing heavy weights / boxercise / spinning.
I don't know how to post pics on here, but ive got them on my profile. The one with black hair is 256lbs, wedding dress 200lbs, current black & white room 181lbs.0 -

Wow, awesome!! Congratulations to all of you on your upcoming weddings.0 -
Congratulations. I have booked my wedding for 26th April 2013. So far I'm about 250 lbs, I don't have a goal per say but I just want to look slimmer but more importantly happier with myself. It's about 8 months to go, I'm hoping I can be at least 200 lbs by then.0

I am getting married on October 19, 2013 and am looking to drop 45lbs!! I know it is totally do-able....need to just keep focused!!0

Hi
My wedding is Sept 21 2013 so i have about a year to get my butt in shape! So far im down about 8 pounds Feel free to add me if you need some support/encouragement!0 -
Mine is April 6th 2013. Booked it about a year in advance and didnt plan on losing more than 10 pounds or so but getting more fit. I started running in April, struggled really. Now Im running over 100 miles a month. I have lost about 8 pounds, but went from a pant size 10-12 to a size 6. Dress size 10 to a 6 as well. Running has done incredible things for me! Good luck and remember, it isnt so much about doing all this just for one day...make it a forever change.0

My Weddding is November 9 2013, i'm trying...not getting there fast but i'm trying.0

You don't want to order TOO many sizes down in case it doesnt fit, but then again having it taken from a 12 to a 6 might ruin the dress?
Maybe order a 8 or 10 and then it could easily be altered to a 6 or 8.
I ordered a 14 when i was a size 16/18, but the dress was laceup at the back with aline skirt so had more flexibility with sizing than something more fitted like yours.0 -
My wedding is booked for June 15, 2013. I started my weight loss for the wedding this past February. I have lost 70 lbs and hope to lose an additional 40lbs by June. I just ordered my dress two sizes too small, but I know I will definitely lose the weight. Congrats on everyone's weddings!0

First..congratulations
My wedding is in just over 2 months...66 days to be exact. I am currently down 18 lbs, and one of my mini goals is to be around 190lbs for my wedding. That I know is going to happen. My main goal is to be 170lbs by the time of my 1 year anniversery. That too I know is going to happen. I'm a 5' 9" tall guy, I'm currently 201lbs. I get up at 5am every morning and do insanity, I have about 2 1/2 weeks to go before I finish, then I will take a "week off" to recover a bit and then get right back at it.
Just remember its fine to want to look great in your wedding dress, but keep your eye on the bigger picture, which is how you are going to look and feel the days, months and years after you take that dress off. Thats what I'm focused on, I want to look and feel good for years after my wedding. I want to be here with my new family for as long as I possibly can. So don't get up in all the small stuff, because it doesn't matter if your 115lbs or 300lbs, on the day of your wedding its your inner beauty that is going shine. People will be able to see the joy, and the love on your face and in your smile. So if you end up a few pounds short of your goal, don't sweat it...remember your life starts after your wedding.
Congratulations, and good luck to you, and enjoy the ride!0 -

I am getting Married December 30, 2012 and I want to lose 30 pounds. So far I have lost 4 pounds. Its a start. I would recommend you start losing weight now. I wish I would have started a year ago..
Good Luck0 -
I'm a horrible example. I got married in 2009, and planned on losing 50 pounds before the wedding... I gained 5 instead. Oh well. Fixing that now! :bigsmile:0

Getting married June 15 2013. Started on here 70 days ago. I'm hoping to lose at least 30 more lbs by then...hopefully 50!0

I am getting married 8-8-13 in Hawaii!!
My weight situation is a little different as I weighed MORE when he met me, then I do now.
He proposed to me when I was already dug deep (approx 6 mos) into my healthy lifestyle. I am now about 8-10Lbs lighter than the proposal date and my goal weight is another 10Lbs-15Lbs by my wedding!!0 -
I'm getting married on 9-13-13 and I'm shooting to be down another 50lbs by then--so far I'm down 35, and I know I can do it!0

getting married december of 2013 in Vegas!! Am losing weight for this!! Very close to goal!!0
-
I've got to do it, and at the moment I've been comfort eating, I need to rise above my issues and get on with it, but it's hard. I'm getting married 10/08/2013, so I've got enough time, I need to lose around 70lbs, but I don't want to get my dress til I'm a lot of the way there.0

Well I am already legally married but since my husband left for afghanistan we are not having out receptions until he gets back which should be around march so I am trying to loose weight for that! I hope I will have a progress picture by then! I cannot wait!!0

Good luck on your weight loss journey! You can do it! I lost about 25-30 pounds and got to my goal weight at my wedding last fall. I have to say, I looked great! However - that was my goal, and after I accomplished it, my motivation went completely away. I've since gained back about 25 pounds and I'm working back down again (ugh!). I'm not posting this to be discouraging, I'm posting it to remind you that you should definitely make looking good at your wedding a goal, but make sure it isn't your only goal! Find a bigger motivation too or continue to set exciting dates (a birthday? new years? anniversaries?) to keep up that motivation. I know you'll do it, just try to to have to do it again like me!0

I'm getting married 2nd Feb 2013 and have lost 10.4kgs (23 pounds) so far and would love another 6kg (13 pounds) but i know time is running out! The nice weather is just starting here in Vic, Australia so that is motivating me to get outdoors more often!!0
-
I'm getting married 26th July 2014, and got about 40 lbs to lose. Whilst it is two years away, I want to be down to my goal weight for next summer for trying dresses and then to maintain the weight. My only problem is that when I've lost weight before, I usually put it all on again...and MORE!! Come on girls, we can do it!0
