I've heard of enemas with herbs but never with coffee. Talk about mudslide ????0

Ok I've never had a coffee enema...BUT once I was asked to 'cater' for a detox retreat at our holiday cottages and they intended to start the holiday for their group with coffee enemas, followed by a fast where they only drank herbal teas - not sure would what happened after that, but we didn't say yes. The thought of about 20 people all having had a coffee enema milling about the complex was not attractive. This was in the 80s.0

Yea, I'll stick to coffee from a cup - or from an IV tube...
My office mate says I should have an IV tube running from the coffee pot in the breakroom, down the hall to my desk, and straight into my arm. Maybe I wouldn't have to spend so much time going back and forth then.0 -

I'm waiting for the enema fanboys to start showing up to tell us all about how people have been doing it since ancient egyptian times.0

Maybe that is what I am supposed to be doing with the rotten coffee they have in the office! I'll bring in good coffee to drink and shove theirs, well, you know where.....:laugh:0

This comes from the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center -
"Coffee enemas are used in several metabolic therapies. There are theories about coffee enemas aiding excretion from the liver and colon, but none of them have been proven. In addition, coffee enemas can cause electrolyte imbalances in the blood and impaired nutrient absorption."
So the best part of waking up is still Folgers in your cup... not your butt.0 -
