Polar FT4 Question

I recently got a Polar FT4. I play competitive volleyball in the summer (sand) and in the winter (gym). I would like to wear my new HRM but we are not allowed to wear rings, watches, etc to play. If I attached the watch of my hrm to my ankle, would it still work? Any one out there ever try anything like that ?

I do the same already. I do street dance, but still want to monitor my calorific burn, so I put the watch in a zipped pocket. Works fine.

The watch does work best when it's kept within three feet of the transmitter to get the signal properly, so an ankle might be a little to far away. I would do some trial runs with it before you chose that option for a game to see if it's going to work for you before you.
