Finally, Time for a change

Hello everyone, I am a 25 year old single mom, trying to lose weight for the 4th time now in the past 4 years. I have been overweight all my life, and it is due to the fact of emotional eating and just downright eating the wrong foods. When I first lost weight was at the age of 21 when I had my son. I mysteriously lost 60 pounds without my knowing. I got pregnant at my heaviest which was 376 and got down to 307...Now, I had to reflect what I was doing during that time, and I was not excersing, I did not eat out because I could not afford it. I did not drink no pop or juice, just vitamin water, zero calorie water, and just plain water. I remember eating when I was hungry, eating mainly meat and veggies, loved bananas and grapefruit, yogurt etc. How I fell off was when I started a new full time job, in the city, and started back with eating out. I slowly but surely started gaining my weight back to now. I am currently 364, BUT a few months ago around May I was pushing 380. So, I was exercising, and watching what I ate, but I did not completely threw out my eating out ways. A few weeks ago, I started getting pains in my stomach, and to be honest I was not drinking an ounce of water, and I was like I have to start drinking water again, so that is what I have started my new journey out with. On two occasions I had some ice tea, but other than that, water, or flavored water. I have been doing some heavy research these past few days before I start grocery shopping. I have been on youtube and have been watching videos heavy, of plussizedive which she has lost I believe close to 200 now in under a year, with dieting and fitness, and also plussizekimonica, she has lost 200 pounds in 2 years. I have been encouraged by them and have just been seeing what they have done to achieve weightloss. So I am going to do a low carb diet, cause it seems like that is what is working for them now. Now I must admit, I have tried the atkins before last year, and I honestly did not like being restricted to 20 carbs and no fruit. But I will be restricting carbs, no less than 80 to start. Also I noticed that doing mainly cardio, is not going to help fat loss. And Lord knows I need fat loss. So I will be doing strength training, and 2 days with classes like Zumba, cause I still want to get heart healthy. So the ideal is, eat fat to lose fat, and build muscle to lose fat. So I will be tracking my weightloss, and going to stay on that straight and narrow. I have made a few goals for myself I wish to achieve by next August, and that is graduating..FINALLY with my associates degree, losing 70 pounds or more :)...and I am determined, So I am praying that this work, but I know I am going to need a support system, I know God is one, but I am going to look heavily to the weighloss community for encouragement.
