i'm a bit disappointed today.

i have a problem with mindless eating - some days no matter how much i eat, i just want to eat more and more. thought i was getting the better of it, since the last few days i've been under my calorie goal and not at all hungry.

turns out i'm just coming down with a cold. boo!

    Looks like you're doing great, anyway - 6kg down is definitely nothing to feel down about!!!

    I think we all have those days where we feel like a bottomless pit... I know I do :)

    Hopefully your cold goes away quickly, anyway...

    I am a mindless eater too. I find that keeping extremely low calorie snacks around helps. I like 100 cal pack popcorn, fiber one cereal, protein plus cereal, gerber puffs (yes the baby snack its 77 puffs for 25 calories so no laughing). I eat them one at a time all day long.

    When I count every calorie from a binge I get so discouraged I just give up for weeks so when I have a bad mindless eating day and am 1000s of calories over I have to stop logging for a few days to pay attention to my body instead of numbers on a page. I haven't lost a lot but at least I haven't gained again. It's just what works for me.
