Since March, I have lost about 40lbs. I began lifting heavy about a month ago. While my weight has stayed about the same, my strength and my overall appearance has dramatically changed. Today, while picking up my daughter from daycare, my neighbor asked me if I was still losing weight. She said that I looked like I had dropped a ton of weight recently and that in the last month she could see "you are getting ripped."
