I started this diet in january as a new years resoultion like we make every year. This year I was determined to lose this weight and get back into shape, so it been 9 months and 61 pounds lost. The last few weeks i gained a few pounds back and i cant seem to lose like i was. My daily intake of calories keeps getting lower because of my weight lose so i try joining a gym and working out to burn more. That work till i got a hernia and now wait for surgery. I guess am just venting on here and maybe asking for some help. My diet is low on carb and high in protien any ideas? There must be a way i can change things up and keep losing. I dont want to give up now am fitting into cloths that i havnt in 20 years. thank for any help:

Don't know much about hernias - can you swim, can you walk slowly? If you can keep moving it will help. What about even just lifting some light weights while you're seated. You've made great progress so far, don't let depression make you quit. I guess one thing I would also note is "its not a diet" it should be "a new way of life". If you think of your eating changes as a diet you may too quickly slip back to poor eating habits.0
