Reward Weight Loss with Food???

Options
Okay, so opinions are like a$$h0l3$ everybody has one, what's yours? Seriously, I want to know.

I've lost 20# so far and I wanted to set an exceptional reward for when I lose 50#. I reward myself with something small every 5 lbs . . . always material items. 25# will be annual passes for a theme park (not Disney, that's way to pricey)

However, there is a place i have always wanted to go to for Sunday brunch . . . It's very pricey for brunch . . . but it is a 5 star hotel and very, very fancy and quite a fun excuse to dress up and eat divine food. Oh my goodness. Hungry just thinking about it. It's only one meal but the experience would be priceless. Would you do it?

I don't really do "rewards" for hitting weight loss milestones, but I'd absolutely go to this place for a special occasion or a "free" day.

And when you think about it, the goal for long-term success should probably be eating very well MOST of the time, and indulging some of the time. To me that seems like a sustainable way to stay healthy for life, not just lose weight short term.

A life without meals like that isn't worth living in my opinion.,.

    Enjoy :)

Yes, do it! It's a one-off, you won't go there every day. Just continue with your normal healthy food intake afterward, the "diet" (don't like that word) you've been following so far, and you won't have any problems. Enjoy!!

No I wouldn't 1. Because I have stopped rewarding myself with food for good and 2. It doesn't look all that wonderful to me. BUT you really think the experience will be priceless, go for it.

Thank you all for your opinions, it was actually on my walk tonight that I came up with it. I will have to run it past it my DH. It is a bit more than we are used to paying for brunch.
