Thats how many calories my food plan suggest I eat based off my exercise. I exercise 6 days a week. Mon/Wed/Fri I walk 2/3/4 miles at an incline, and do weight machines, tues/thurs/sat i do aerobics classes the Y offers. I really wanna eat just 1200 calories, IDK why I just do. Im starting fresh tomorrow, so I guess the 1st week I will stick as close as I can to 1590, it may be less...and at my first weigh in I shall see, what yall think

Eating at BMR (which is always above 1200) is the healthiest option for weight loss. A lot of people do 1200 calorie diets regardless of their gender, height, weight, etc., but it's not the healthiest option.
I used to eat 1300 then realized I literally had NO energy for all my workouts. when I began eating more, I started losing more weight. Your body needs fuel (calories) to be able to do ALL that fantastic stuff you make it do throughout the week -- and you really do make your body work! Give it some fuel (1590) so it can work hard at burning fat for youJust make sure you eat healthy calories.. not burgers and carbs and fried foods all the time.
To jump start your weight loss if you're just beginning it's not uncommon for anyone to start off for a week or two a few hundred under BMR... but if you really do 6 workouts a week.. you really need a lot of energy!0 -

This is good advice. I am learning how to do this now. But it makes such sense.0
