Plain nuts. Like when people say a handful of almonds is a good snack. Gives me a stomachache. And Greek yogurt. Don't see what all the hype is about. Kinda gaggy.

Greek yogurt was gross to me at first. Then someone introduced me to putting it on salty foods like a condiment. I think of it as replacing sour cream. And I never cared for sour cream but now I really enjoy greek yogurt (as a condiment).
  • Natural yoghurt, tuna, avocado and tomatos!!

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to try that. The fruity ones made me want to hurl.

Oatmeal, I've tried it with every topping known to man, yuck. Tofu...same. And almond milk is just thick and weird to me, I can't do it.

Oh and I can only take bananas raw in small doses. The smell makes me nauseous to the point where I have to avoid the banana bin at the grocery store. But sometimes I get a craving for half of a small banana sliced into cold milk (I have a complex relationship with bananas, lol).
  • Legumes - I like them but they don't like me.
Jicama - makes my mouth numb,
Artichokes (both types) - globe type are too bitter, and Jerusalem ones give me gas.
  • Okra. Slimy! :(
  • Okra
    Liver

I <3 avocados, oatmeal, brussel sprouts and broccoli. The greek yogurt took a minute and I had to get the fruit at the bottom kind to get it started, but now can eat it plain - although it is WAY over priced so its only a treat now.

To those that don't like cottage cheese, are you insane? :D Try eating with BBQ chips - scoop some up and the taste is WILD!
My kids grew up thinking cottage cheese WAS chip dip, LOL

i will not eat grains, breads, protein bars or shakes, hard boiled eggs (only way i can eat eggs is scrambled), avocado, oatmeal, yogurt, sour cream, most cheeses, legumes, peanuts and peanut butter, TURKEY bacon..oh i could go on and on. most are based of taste preferences.

i've found i can only tolerate coconut oil in small amounts. i was taking WAY more than i should and it made me throw up and kept me in the bathroom.

I don't like protein powder or protein bars.

I also don't like plain greek yogurt or any of the chobani yogurts that everyone loves. But I just tried the wallaby greek yogurt with fruit and it is heavenly. It is a bit high in sugar but ooooh so good.

Celery. Absolutely hate it. Also doing the Paleo Diet/Gluten Free/Soy Free/Dairy Free/Nut Free..drives me absolutely nuts. You may as well be eating air.

how is that like eating air? i'm eating primal, and oh my god i get stuffed just trying to meet my calorie goal. how is eating lots of meat and vegetables like eating air? eating bread or pasta is like eating air to me. its not filling and makes me hungry an hour later. give me enough meat and veggies to eat until i'm satisfied (not full), and i won't be hungry for a good 6 hours or more.

    Cleanses/Detoxes

    Diet pills

    Meal replacement shakes

Pre-packaged diet meal plans like Jenny Graig or Nutrisystem

I don't find any of the above "healthy". YMMV.

Broccoli and Brussel Sprouts. Yes, they are healthy, but something about the smell of them turns my stomach really terribly. I don't even like to sit next to people eating them. I can actually tolerate and sometimes even enjoy raw broccoli, but once you heat it that danged smell returns.

PB2. If i want peanut butter, I'm going for the real stuff. Mmmm. Peanut butter. :smooched:
  • I forgot to mention celery. The collenchyma gets stuck in my teeth. :(

low carb what? things that have been re-made low-carb?
I'm not a fan of things that are re-made gluten free either. They never taste good. I'd rather just go without.

An overall low carb diet doesn't work for me and a gluten-free diet doesn't work for me. I also don't eat a lot of foods with gluten in them but I do eat them.

I hate tomatoes and onions, and almost every 'healthy' recipe has a lot of these in them...yikes. Also, HATE fennel.

Cottage cheese, quark, hummus, and generally chickpeas; the only way I like them is in a heavy indian marinade and roasted so they're crispy, but when I open the can before marinating them and the smell comes in my nose, ewwww.

I also don't like Greek yoghurt, except for when it serves as tzaziki. And tuna. I'm slowly liking it a bit I think, but fresh' expensive and I hate fish when it's canned!

surprisingly lots of ppl are in the same boat.
I ordered some tofu last week,
IThe supermarket packer couldn't find it, and substituted a sushi rolling mat instead.
(so yeah if i want to eat sticks thats great)

    :grumble:

I dont get why everyone thinks museli bars or nut bars are healthy,
I know its relative, but as a snack?? its full of calories, with all that sugar, just have some fruit or nuts or museli.

I haven't been able to get on board with quinoa.
  • I can't eat banana either! I can stomach any other food...just impossible to swallow banana.
  • Tofu. Not even sure what it is.

I've had it, both good and bad results...properly made? a) can't tell you're eating it b) good for you c) filling
the opposite is slimy, gooey and gaggy (much like the okra I tried)
