My Husband decided to drink more water everyday and the scale has went down 6 pounds in 2 days!!!! How is this possible? LOL Is it water weight? Is it because he eats a lot of salt and it is getting flushed out? Makes me want to chug water all day!!! HAHAHA

It could be the time of day. Did he originally weigh himself in the evening, say after supper and now he's weighing himself first thing in the morning after a bathroom break and before eating? I just don't see losing 6 pounds in 2 days by drinking water. I drink water all the time...and I think salt makes you retain water so that would only help if he has also stopped using a lot of salt.0

Yes, it is water weight.
He didn't forgo 21,000 calories in 2 days, right?
It's possible that chugging all the water kept him from eating or drinking a few more calorie-laden choices, but not 21,000 calories' worth.0 -
Same time in the morning! I am extremely Jealous!!! I'm like wtf! I even changed the dang batteries on it just to make sure!0

What did he start with? If he's a higher starting weight it's definitely possible to quickly drop, especially if the water is replacing something bad that he would normally eat (sodas, sugary creamer coffee drinks, or food - water does help curb your appetite).0

you nailed it. He lost water weight and is flushing his system. Once he goes back to his normal routine, it will come back.0
