A Couple of NSVs for Me

About a month ago, the company I work for had an "Employee Appreciation" lunch at a restaurant and there were door prizes. And I won! I won a Brookstone Candyman (here is the link so if you want to see what I'm talking about):  http://www.amazon.com/Brookstone-CandyMan-Motion-Activated-Candy-Dispenser/dp/B003POD8O8
It's actually a very cool prize but WOW, just 2 weeks after starting MFP....
Anyway, my coworkers were even more excited than I was haha, and one of them stopped by the drugstore that very afternoon and bought a couple huge bags of M&Ms to put in it. My coworkers have continued to bring in candy and keep it filled up. I get lots of visitors in my cubicle now.
NSV: I have eaten candy out of this machine exactly TWICE since winning, 20 M&Ms each time. Candy is a huge weakness so this is a huge NSV for me!
Second NSV: I am 33 and have been a yo-yo dieter since I was about 19. A 37-inch measurement around my waist has been both a starting point several times and has also been a plateau point at least once or twice after which point I gave up on my latest plan. Today my waist measured 36 inches (5 inches lost since 7/28) and I felt like I passed a major milestone! Go Me!

Yes! Go, you! That's awesome! I love the physical changes, but the mental milestones are even more satisfying because they open the way for more physical progress. Keep up the good work!0
