Not eating enough?

Does anyone else seem to have the same problem? I cant seem to eat enough calories, I get in all my water plus some which reduces appetite and keeps me satisfied.
I find myself forcing myself to eat and still never making it in the area, usually coming up anywhere from 500-1000 calories short. Usually going over on protein a few.
I have over 100lbs to lose... I wont make it if I slow my metabolism by not eating enough, but I don't want to slip into eating the wrong things for the calories.
Any suggestions?

hi. youre going to have to force yourself to eat oyherwise your body will think you are starving it. just watch what u eat.0

If you have over 100 pounds to lose, you're probably going to be okay not eating all your exercise calories. Those of us who are severely overweight are very unlikely to go into "survival/starvation mode" because we have so much extra body fat.
I personally try to get at least 1200 calories a day. If I've exercised a lot, I could easily be 1500 calories under MFP's recommendation. That's okay for now.
I've been here for 13.5 weeks and I've lost 39 pounds. I eat when I'm hungry and I have occasional treats. If I'm way way way under my calories, I have a spoonful of peanut butter or some other calorie-packed healthy treat.0 -
:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: If you're eating at least 1200 calories of nutrition dense super healthy food plus some of your exercise calories then you are probably OK. However if you aren't losing weight doing this, then you need to increase your calories by adding some higher calorie foods (peanut butter is my personal favorite )0

Almonds are a great snack food that is calorie-dense. They have protein and healthy fats. I keep a bag of unsalted, whole almonds at home for when I need a quick calorie boost without feeling like I've pigged out.0

Peanut butter! Wow, I never thought it could add to my calories like that.... a little toast and peanut butter.... sounds yummay to me!
And, I totally forgot about nuts like almonds... I am still on my first week being all super newbie!
