Shirataki Noodles are found in the refrigerated section.

Look for the noodles in the refrigerated section where you will find tofu. I had looked in the wrong place in several stores, then found them in my usual store, "Food Max." I read online that Trader Joes has them too. I think most stores do have them. But our big Asian store didn't have any, and didn't have tofu either. Duh.

New recipe: Cold Shiratake noodle salad, Asian fat free dressing and whatever veggies on hand. Yum! I put cucumbers, carrots, onions, califlower, Asian cabbage (all finely shredded) and soybeans in the salad I made today. Yum! Yum! Yum!0

Thanks for the cold noodle recipe! I Love these! and yes, they can be found sometimes in the oddest places in a store. My Wegmans has them in their refigerated Health Food Section. The Tops grocer has them at the end of the fresh veggies in a very small "vegitarian" section. I've used them as pasta with meat sauce, stir fried with veggies and asian sauces, and recently added to my hot and sour soup for some bulk! like them so much better than wheat pastas. In fact they're on the menu tonite!0
