Question About Exercising/Working Out

I like to break up my workouts. My day sorta looks like this
Morning- 30D Shred
Afternoon- Treadmill
Evening- Additional crunches/ weights (to tighten the flab on the backs of my arms)

Is this OK or should I be doing it all at the same time. I like doing it this way because im not currently working and I don't like sitting around all day so it seems to be keeping me moving throughout the day.
Any tips??

Having it broken down into different times of the day is a great thing to do. I wouldn't change what you were doing, in terms of times to do it.

I would consider doing more strength training though.

    Food for thought.

Breaking it up doesn't really matter. All that matters is that you do it.

What kind of strength training would you recommend? I sometimes copy things that my husband does but I don't know technical terms. He does some kind of arm curls and I do a few of those here and there but I really don't know what to do as far as strength training.
If it helps we have a "total gym", treadmill, exercise ball (i usually do my crunches and arms while on it), 8lb weighted ball, 5lb and 10lb weights.

If you are a member of a gym, sometimes paying for a few sessions of personal training can be very beneficial because they can show you proper techniques, and often times, they will show you methods using things you can afford for the home like combining dumb bells and a core ball while doing militar presses, for example. Resistance bands are also pretty good if you don't have weights/machine at home. Kettle bells, dumb bells, resistance bands, and a core ball are all great, affordable things you can have & use at home. Just google around for various home fitness phrases and search youtube directly as well.

Im not a member of a gym so I will search around and see what kinds of things I can do at home. Thanks!
