question about walking calories- with back pack

I am walking in 100 degree heat, carrying a 5-7 lb load. I know this is a light pack, but I will add more weight to my pack as I can tolerate it. I am walking fast but not jogging- I feel the burn in my back side! My question is- I am probably walking at the 3.5 mph range- but should I be logging the 4mph range, since I am carrying a back pack? I know I am burning more calories by carrying that weight but not sure how many more and can't seem to find any resources- unless you are carrying say a 20-30 lb pack.
Thank you !

I would say it probably doesn't make enough of a difference to be worth logging. However if you go to the exercise tab add select 'database' you will be able to select say 'walking 3.5mph' and be able to change your weight. Add 5lbs and compare to see how much it does change it. If less that 20cal difference, it really isn't worth it. If more you can then enter that figure manually into your exercise log.0

thank you so much! I didn't know about that feature. You were right, it was less than a 10 calorie difference. Thanks again!!0
