If you do any research online, everyone says the Lean Pockets are not good for you. I happen to Love the new Mesquite BBQ Chicken ones with the pretzel bread . With 250 Cal, 4 grams of fat, 1 Saturated & 11 Grams Protein , I think their pretty damn good . Guess their talking bout it being a processed food idk. Had one today with a cup of organic spinach , cherub tomatoes and Table spoon vinegar & EVOO with tablespoon smoked almonds I don't see the big deal. Can anyone elaborate ?

The pretzel bread ones have somewhere around 950mg of sodium per pocket. The non-pretzel bread ones are in the 600-800 ranges. So in one pocket, that takes just a few bites to eat you're getting almost all of the recommended 1500mg of sodium you should be eating in day.
But even excusing that, no, they aren't "bad" for you. They are high in carbs while being low on the protein side and completely processed, so many people are going to tell you that they are wrong/evil/made by the devil himself. But ultimately it's always a personal choice. If they fit in your calories and macros for the day and you don't have any reason to be cautious of the sodium levels, enjoy them. I personally think they're pretty darned tasty as well and if sodium didn't make me bloat like a water balloon stuck on a faucet, I'd probably eat 'em more often.0 -
I eat way to much sodium , close to 4000mg a day , but I'm 53 & my blood pressure was 115-65 Yesterday ! I balance the sodium eating a lot of potassium ( Bananas) Way to much salt in most all foods0
