Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering- for all the PCOS sufferers out there what carb limit works for you?
Thanks!

I personally found that not limiting carbs work for me. I do limit the types of carbs though (stay away from refined carbs/added sugars).0

Hey there, I have PCOS and I just started a new eating program.
My carb limit is 50-80 grams a day.
This is based on a whole eating program, and I have a high amount of protein to try to get every day (at least 130-150 grams)0 -

I have switched my carbs as much as possible away from refined ones. I eat more fruit, wholegrains etc. I do occasionally have the odd refined one still though.... So not limiting your carbs doesn't affect your symptoms in any way?

If you want to eat a higher carb diet with insulin sensitivities, there are ways. I'm also hypoglycemic but haven't had an episode in 6 years or so. I also don't eat meat so a low cab diet, although doable, would be a pain for me. I found higher carb and lower fat works well for me.
I'd recommend looking up South beach diet, it uses glycemic load. The induction phase is low carb but after that, you can increase carbs. You can even skip the induction phase. I know there are other books out there on glycemic load but south beach diet was one of the first and what I discovered many years ago.
Other things I've used are Dr Neal Barnard's diet for reversing diabetes. He used a high carb/low fat in his diabetes patients to either get them completely off meds or significantly reduce their meds. I actually don't like going as low fat as he does but he does have some recipes and guidance in the book.
A vegetarian cookbook Apprtite for Reduction is good too. She wrote the cookbook to help control her PCOS.0
