okay, this may be a dumb question but I have been using MFP for about 2 weeks now and have no idea with NSV means!!! :laugh:

    Non-Scale Victory, so basically any measure of your success that does not involve stepping on the scale.

    It could be meeting an exercise goal, or a measurements goal, or clothes feeling looser, receiving a compliment, some dietary improvement you've been struggling to make, etc.

    Non-Scale Victory....Something that is a clear indication of progress, that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with a number on a scale. For example, fitting into some clothes that you haven't worn in a while, or reaching and exercise goal.
