So I was having weird readings so I contacted Polar to get a replacement strap & they sent a different version, I suppose.
I never seen this one before.

Old Strap (Not mine, but same thing):

Anyone else have this strap?
I haven't tested it yet, I'm going to class soon to test it out.

I have the first one. Where do you put the transmitter?

It's the same in the front, just different in the back.

I have the first one as well, but am now to thin for it. It falls down when I am running even at the tightest setting. Can you tell if the new strap has tighter adjustments?

    Seems like it.
I had to make mine a little tighter than the old one.

I just got mine, it has the second strap. I haven't used it on a run yet but testing my resting heart rate it seemed fine. It just appears to be a lower-profile strap Imo.

Ok, I'm not alone with this strap.

Looks like some sort of plastic in the back because when I wet the back of the strap nothing seemed to happen.

I tried it when I went to kickboxing last night & it seemed to work pretty well.
Got a few 00 readings but I chalk that up to the strap not being tight enough.
Looks like you can use the electrode gel no problem with this strap.
  • I have the old strap....anyone else have trouble changing the battery in the sensor??

I used a quarter to open & close the back.
