My husband telling me that he is proud of me is my motivation. Makes me feel so good to hear that someone is proud of me. :-)0

Me. I had a vision of myself years before I fell ill and began gaining all this weight...I was young n quite selfish. Then marriage & kids--my focus was on everyone's health & welfare but mine own...I have come full circle because illness once again struck & I came to the realization that if I didn't care enough to focus on me, my health, my body then I didn't truly care enough for my family. What good is my sacrificing for them or anyone else, if I wouldn't/didn't make the sacrifice to care for myself so I could live to continue to care for those around me.0

Motivation gets you started. Stick with it for a while and it should be habit, not motivation, that keeps you going. If you're still relying on motivation to keep you eating healthy and exercising regularly months into your plan there's a problem.0
