Hey! We are going to a football party tomorrow night and everyone is bringing finger foods. Those are dangerous for me and I can totally kill my diet with one night of that. My kids are going too, so I won't have very much time for "grazing". But, I would like to have one healthy/low cal dish there. Do you guys have any recipes???? Thanks in advance!

    Try Skinnytaste.com

Honestly my new favorite website for recipes. She had a low fat buffalo chicken dip that looked amazing!

Fat free plain greek yogurt w/1 pkg ranch dressing (high protein, low fat ranch dip) with veggies?

I have a great recipe for stuffed mushroom caps that you could make very low fat. Fat free or low fat cream cheese (1 pkg) a few tablespoons of green onion (minced...as much as you like) and 1 pkg of chicken or turkey sausage (or you could use morningstar if you like)...Mix the above ingredients and fill stemmed white mushroom caps. Bake until golden brown on top and mushrooms are cooked.

Hi, I got this recipe online from Hungry Girl! If you haven't stumbled across Hungry Girl yet, you must! She has out a bunch of cook books like 300 recipes under 300 calories and so on.. These looked delicious ...a must try ....(I'm gonna try it on football nights)

    De-Pudged Pigs in a Blanket
    Per Serving (4 pigs in a blanket): 134 calories, 5g fat, 652mg sodium, 16g carbs, 0g fiber, 3g sugars, 8g protein
    Makes 8 Servings

    Ingredients:
8 fat-free or nearly fat-free franks with about 45 calories each (like Hebrew national 97% Fat Free Beef Franks)
1 package Pillsbury reduced Fat Crescent refrigerated dough

    Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut each hot dog into 4 even pieces. Set aside.

Take one of the eight triangle-shaped portions of the dough and stretch or roll it out slightly, making it into a larger triangle. Then, cut this piece of dough into four long, narrow triangles.

Beginning at the base of each of these triangles, roll one hot dog piece up in each until the point of the triangle wraps around the center. Place your blanketed pigs on a large, ungreased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining ingredients, so that you have 32 pigs in a blanket. Be sure to evenly space them, as the dough will expand while baking.

Place sheet in the oven, and cook for about 12 minutes, until dough appears slightly browned and crispy. Enjoy!

Veggie tray with low fat ranch dip.
Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip- you can make it low calorie.
Air popped popcorn (I like to add seasonings like Parm cheese or cajun seasoning to mine)
    Nuts, dried fruits.

You can also make a healthier version of nachos. Use baked, whole-grain tortilla chips. Use lean ground beef or ground turkey and low-fat cheese to top the chips. Load the nachos with fresh vegetables such as onions, peppers, tomatoes, olives and avocados.

  • http://tastykitchen.com/recipes/appetizers-and-snacks/crab-rangoon-dip-with-wonton-chips/ I made this crab rangoon dip and it was pretty good. I didn't fry wontons, instead I used lavish chips from Trader Joes. There is a note at the bottom about baking the wontons instead.
