Does anyone know of a good coconut flavored protein powder? when I say good I mean not only good tasting, which is extremely important, but nutritionally good as well?
Thanks!

I don't know a coconut powder, but I do know Vitamin world has an unflavored protein powder. Perhaps you can find some coconut milk or flavoring to add to it when you mix up a shake?0

I didn't know there was a coconut protein powder, sounds yummy. When I used protein powder, I used Vanilla.0

I was looking up different flavors the other night and noticed Optimum Nutrition has a coconut flavored protein powder.. I have no idea how it tastes though (I hate coconut) but ON products are known for being pretty good quality if you're wanting to look into it.
Or mix a different powder with coconut water or something, maybe?0 -
You're better off with coconut milk (Almond Breeze) plus a chocolate protein powder. I'm currently using the Body Fortress protein powders found in the Wal-Mart pharmacy area combined with the coconut/almond milk mix (unsweetened 45 cal) VERY good!!! Tasted like graham crackers!0

I do the vanilla from walmart as well, like 15$ and I find nothing missing nutrionally that I would want. High protein and right in line with the other percentages.
I mix with the 30 calorie almond milk but I bet it would be GREAT with coconut milk. I eat unsweetened coconut raw for a snack. I found a pack with very few calories in the baking isle.0 -
I also like the Walmart powders, (although the first I posted that I got thoroughly bashed! ) If you want a nice flavor, in addtion to the coconut milk or water, ad a drop of coconut extract, its zero calories, sodium, etc. adjust to taste!0

Thanks for the input everyone. I have the protein powder from Walmart so maybe if I can find a good strong flavoring I will be satisfied.
Haven't heard of Optimum Nutrition until now but I am definitely going to Google to see where I can buy it!0 -
Good luck finding something! My boyfriend is coconut obsessed and he said that the coconut milk (Silk brand) doesn't even really taste like coconut to him, so if you're looking for a really strong coconut flavor I'm not sure if that'd do it for you.0
