quick back story...lost 80 lbs in last 15 months by running and lifting never ran over 2.5 miles before because didnt see point.....So i have been lifting in mornings and running (1-2 miles) in evenings a few nights a week for some extra burn at night....last night i arrived home tired and got ready for a quick mile run before dinner...as i set out my legs were burning and sore within first half mile from leg workout in morning i didnt want to keep going. when i got to the .7 mile point where i turn around i decided i would just go to the next road which is 1.5 miles from house and walk the 2 other roads back to my house which are 2.5 miles in total. when i got to the road i said screw it and thought i can finish this thing...i wouldnt let myself quit...ended up running 4 miles through the glowing corn and beanfields of ohio in 38 minutes and never felt better....part of me is mad i havent been challenging myself enough like this....if you set your mind to things you CAN do anything no matter how big or small.

Nice! I was running last night (with a freshly cracked rib) and I kept saying I'll take a 30 sec rest at the next 5 minute interval. Turns out, I didn't take one single rest, and ran 2.5 miles. BOOM!
