In light of the crazy situation that happened yesterday where someone's ex called in a fake report that a guy had dangerous substances on an airplane...article here: http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/Flight-Returns-to-Philadelphia-Due-to-Security-Issue-168753036.html, my friend and I were chatting about prank calls we had made when we were younger.

Here's one of my old favorites. We found a funny name in the phone book that was local to our area. We called and ordered pizza for them. Not that funny. Well, about an hour later we thought it would be cool to call the people and ask them if they got the pizza. We assumed they would have turned the delivery person away. Well, apparently they paid for it b/c they said, "Yeah and we're gonna shove it up your *kitten*!!!!" Tee hee.

Give me your best prank call stories!

I don't remember the prank calls I committed as a kid. I do remember my parents would always hand the phone to me when telemarketers would call. I always had something crazy up my sleeve. I have tried to sell a pooper scooper to a time share rep, demanded a travel agent explain to me why my taxi hasn't arrived, and proposed to another telemarketer. That's the only ones I can remember off the top of my head.

One of ours was to ask if the Walls lived there? Then ask what was holding up the ceiling? On guy had a smart come back for it. His answer was 2X4's.
Ok I know that was dumb, but we were just kids having fun.

OH MAN THIS IS THE BESTEST.. I used to call people and say "Do you have Sara Lee in your refrigerator?" .. and when they would be like Yes.. I would go on and laugh and Say "YOU BETTER LET THEM OUT!!! "

I was such a riot as a kid..
  • There was this guy in the phone book named Joel Butts. Of course we had to call him. Repeatedly.

    Ok a for real one..

Whe used to dial numbers that would spell things like this one number was "Big ****"
    '

We would call them repeated asking if they knew their number spelled that and finally this guy said.. YES WE KNOW NOW LEAVE US THE F ALONE..

Probably didn't help we kept calling at 3 am on a week night.
