Determined to change my habits! Help needed.

I have been like a bouncing ball since I joined, but after coming home this past weekend from welcoming home my son back from Afghanistan, I am more determined than ever. What I need is to get on a routine and I could use some suggestions or ideas of what to eat from breakfast to dinner and everything in between. Grocery funds are limited so I wonder if others struggle with this too?
Suggestions?

Groceries are a struggle. I plan, plan, plan and then plan somemore to make it work for me. I buy foods when they are sale, I plan out my week in advance, so I know what I am eating for 99% of the time each week. I cut up whole watermelon's at a time, or pluck and wash 2 lbs of grapes at a time, so that I always have some fresh fruit to munch on (no work involved, already done). I grow a lot of my own veggies and prepare and freeze them for the winter months. Every Sunday, I make food for the week. Every morning for breakfast, I eat steel cut oats (the fruit I add changes, but I always eat my oats). I make them on Sunday for the week and then portion them out so that every morning it takes under 2 minutes to prepare breakfast (no excuse for any fast food). I plan an dinner and then make sure that I leave enough left over to eat for lunch during the week or freeze and eat another week. Nothing in my house goes to waste. If I cut up celery for a soup, I cut up all the celery and freeze what I don't need now, but it will be available for next time. Everything takes planning. Which is not easy, but once you are doing it for a week or two, doesn't seem so hard.
