Ok this is going to be a brief one (or ill try to make it brief!). A year ago I got out of a rubbish, violent relationship of 5 years. I was paranoid about my weight the whole time and even though I thought was trying to lose weight I got bigger and bigger. So, the new start gave me a kick for a new me. So far, 33 lbs lighter!
One of my goals since I was 17 (Im now 32!) was to have a six pack ... I still dont have one, but Im getting there, and i WILL get my defined abs!! One of my goals when I first joined MFP was to fit into the clothes in my wardrobe that I had become too big for, well, all those clothes are gone!!! Much too big! Ive dropped 3 dress sizes from a UK14 to a UK8, ive never been this slim in my entire life! Im now so into fitness Im doing a personal trainer course, hopefully I can inspire other people. Few pics for the update to follow but as I say, Im far from finished!!!
Before. Looking old and fat and unhealthy.
Current! Sorry its only half of me but Im obsessed with taking photos of my stomach LOL!
The six pack in progress! Totally obsessed, I keep poking it all the time LOL!
So there we go, I feel really proud of how far Ive come so far. Its not easy sometimes and I forget what Ive achieved. So a note to everyone out there, dont give up guys! Look at how far you have come, even if you have just started out, that decision is the biggest hurdle of your journey. Keep going, keep working! Hopefully my next update will be pics of a super six pack!!! (P.S .. hope the photos work, if not ill have a play with them!)

Congratulations! Your 6 pack is impressive and already inspiring me!
I am 32 years old too, trying to get rid of my tum however it seems to come off anywhere else (esepcially my boobs - got down from 34DD to 32B) but bearly lose any from my tum (in 4 months from 85 cm to 79 - not much especially the work i put into).
But you look fantastic! Excellent work!0 -

Oh hun tell me about it! Ive lost a load of my boobs but still have a huge fat bottom and thighs!! I think if i ever cut down enough for a six pack ill have to get a boob job!!! LOL! On the plus side, they arent sagging now, Ive always had ok boobs but i think 1 more year at that weight and id have started to fail the pencil test!! (if you can hold a pencil under your boob!!! LOL) Keep up all the good work you are doing and you will get there for sure tundeke, Ive hit a plateau right now and we need to stay strong, it will all pay off in the end x0

Awww thank you!!!! (Im the one at the front, not the old dude at the back in the shorts though haha! ) Weird thing is, that I look in the mirror and think, how on earth did i look at myself with all that weight on and think it was ok!? I knew I was bigger but I never thought I looked like a total chubster! Amazing what we get used to, such as sometimes now I look in the mirror and dont think Ive changed that much. This is why keeping photos is so important and also looking at them! We forget what we have achieved as we see ourself every day.0 -

Hope it's ok to update this rather than start a new thread. I would just like to share that I am now a qualified gym instructor and personal trainer. I can't believe how far I have come and now I get to help others on their journeys. I'm super happy!0
