Aline Red Insoles?

Hello,
My physical therapist is suggesting that I get insoles. She works with the Aline Insoles, and just gave me a brochure on the Aline Red Insoles that she sells.
My new chiropractor is also recommending some kind of insoles. We haven't got beyond the "we'll talk about it soon" stage.
I've looked at Aline. Lots of famous athletes are using this product. I'm not an athlete, I'm trying to recover from four different injuries, and trying to walk properly, without pain.
Any feedback on insoles in general, or Aline insoles specifically, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Bonnie

Hi, again. The ones that were custom made for me are from Foot Levelers and set my insurance company back a cool $400 for the pair. I had to stand on a special platform that measured my weight distribution across my entire feet and had other impressions made. Of course, mine are also arch supports. How I hated them at first. They hurt enough under my arches that I finally learned how to walk without my ankles turning in. It's amazing what a bit of pain avoidance will teach your body to do.
I've never heard of the Aline Red brand. Will they be customized to your feet and your individual needs? But good for you to come to MFP for feedback. You might want to bump this in the morning. It will be Satufday and more people will see it.0 -
you want the custom made insoles ive had them for almost a year now no pain its like walking on clouds had no arch before now have proper support with the insoles. very pricey but well worth it0

Me and my husband both have them. I LOVE them and put them into any shoes (sneakers) I am wearing for all activities. They have helped with ny knee pain and foot pain. My husband only uses his for work and likes them for that, but he is a runner (I am not) and won't use them for running.
I've never had any other insoles or been told by a Dr. that I needed any though, so I don't know hoe they compare to other brands.
Also, they take a little while to get used to, but after a while you won't even notice them.0
