Calorie deficits/overages

Hello,
This is my second week on myfitnesspal and so far I am having success (-7 lbs.) and I just love how easy it is and that it is FREE! But today I came up with a situation I know I'll face again, so can anyone give me some advice?
I have been exercising nearly every day since I've started so I can eat a few more calories. This usually still leaves me with extra calories left over at the end of the day. (For example, yesterday I was under my recommended intake by 277 calories.)
But today was a very long, and different day. I just got home from a conference, and I would rather not exercise today because I need to go to sleep soon- I work again in about 8 hours. I ate pretty clean at the conference but I am still over on today's calories by about 130 because I didn't exercise. So my question is, do any of you 'bank' calories from one day to another, and if you do, have you been successful with this approach? I know when I did another weight control program a few years back you had an optional weekly allowance to use and I think this is one of those situations where it came in handy. I'd sure like your insight on this. Thanks!

You're going to go over some days - you need to average your deficit (I also like to keep fairly similar day to day).
The important thing is to average your net goal. You're obviously doing great.0 -
You'll be fine. It's more week to week than day to day. It all averages out. Good luck to you & welcome to the site.0
